Hi there, my name is Lily Gardner. I am a University of Utah alumna, and graduated May of 2018 with a B.A. in Film and Media Arts, and an emphasis in Entertainment Arts and Engineering. My minor is in creative writing.
The University of Utah’s EAE program shares the #1 and #2 undergraduate/graduate national ranking spots with University of Southern California’s Games program. Our program focuses on providing an industry-accurate studio environment for students in order to best prepare them for entering the industry post-graduation.
While I am focused on the art side of the major, I aspire to be a producer in the industry. My undergraduate experience has afforded me the privilege to gain experience in that role on four or five different projects over the course of my degree. My extensive work history and time spent in management positions has also afforded me valuable experience in that aspect as well.
In the fall of 2018, I will being my graduate studies at Boston University – Metropolitan. A Masters of Science in Project Management with an emphasis in Agile Project Management will be my goal!
Thundaga.net is my portfolio, but it also is home to my blog. Feel free to leave comments on entries; I would love to see what fellow EAE majors/alumni create and are experiencing as well 🙂 I wanted to make sure that I was able to make my site as appealing and effective as possible, as I plan to advertise what I do through here. It will be my online business card. I hired the https://the-indexer.com/ who were nice enough to assign some very helpful pros to achieve this goal. I really like how it turned out.
You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check out my portfolio for more information regarding my experience! My profile has more in-depth information about me, and a link to my resume is below:
“Lily is an excellent producer for her team, and gives great presentations that detail the team’s work. She always puts the team first, and uses her communication skills to facilitate the best out of every member. She is a great candidate for a game producer position.”

“I have known Lily for many years including time mentoring her on her career path and goals. Many things become quickly visible when you first meet Lily. First is that she demonstrates a maturity far beyond her young years. Second, she is an efficient communicator, both succinct and direct, but also enthusiastic and inclusive. Finally, she is smart, a quick study with a tremendous breadth of knowledge but eager to learn what she doesn’t know. She is a born organizer and process builder, methodical and analytical.
Consistently, she will go above and beyond to make sure that her team is engaging at peak capacity. She is locked in to the cultural zeitgeist and her influences are as varied as they are vast. Lily’s biggest strength, however, is her personality. She is funny, warm and makes connections with others easily. She is a thoroughly nice person who is not afraid to make hard decisions when they are needed. I wholeheartedly recommend Lily and would work with her in a minute given the opportunity.”
– Colin Boswell, Former C.O.O./C.T.O. @ Visceral Games/EA
